Protecting our environment – with low impact dining
Sideshore is a sustainable development designed to protect and preserve the local environment, so we make sure our restaurants and cafes also reflect that ethos.
Food outlets at Sideshore aim to be as environmentally low impact as possible – we have a ban on single use plastics, work with sustainable, mostly local suppliers and ensure our kitchens are run as efficiently as possible.
The menus are based around local and seasonal food, enabling them to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the restaurant and low impact cooking techniques use solar power for induction hobs and ground-source heat pumps for heating and cooling in the kitchen.
