Join us for Sit.Stay.Sideshore a fun-filled, action-packed ‘dog day’ for the whole family, featuring a tail wagging dog show, wagtastic market, tasty tantalising treats and plenty of activities to enjoy together (see the full schedule below).

More than just a great day out Sit.Stay.Sideshore is a not-for-profit, community backed event that helps bring people and pets together in a fantastic location to support local projects and initiatives.

Whether your showing off your pooch, getting creative with the kids, or soaking up the sun at a doggy paddle paddleboard session, it’s a day to celebrate community spirit and our shared love of dogs.


Schedule and activities

  • Dog market (various traders), 10:00am – 4:00pm
  • FREE Dog themed arts and crafts (delivered by Sideshore Community), 10:00am – 4:00pm
  • FREE Dog themed story time delivered by Sideshore Community – suitable for children age 3-7 (10am, 11am, 12pm, 15:30pm)
  • FREE Community dog walk and trainer Q&A (delivered by Pawsitive Canine), 10:30am  – 11:15am/ 3:00pm – 3:45pm (booking essential)
  • Hoopers demonstration (delivered by Tail Spin), 1:30pm – 2:00pm
  • Dog agility demonstration (delivered by Tail Spin), 12:00pm – 12:30pm
  • Nora of Beacon, Crufts freestyle champion 12.30pm -1pm  (Westcountry Vet Physio)
  • Pavement art competition (delivered by Ella), 11:00am – 1:00pm (online entries/ on the day)
  • Dog show, 2:00pm – 3:30pm (online entries/ on the day entry if space remaining)
  • Furry Face of Sideshore prize giving, 3:30pm – meet Chewie our dog ambassador with a huge pawsonality.
