Event Information:
Join us for an action packed day of sea swimming, water safety and environmental education.
Your children will spend an exciting day with us at Sideshore.
The morning session will include water safety, sea swimming and beach games – delivered by professional sea swim instructors from Sea Swim Devon.
After lunch, the children will join Charlie’s Beach School for an afternoon of beach themed art, coastal activities and seaside fun!
Kit List
Children will need the following:
- Swimming costume or trunks
- Wetsuit
- Towel
- Goggles
- Drink (water refill station available on site)
- NUT FREE snack
- NUT FREE packed lunch
- Warm sensible clothing
- Waterproof coat (they will be outside)
- Sensible footwear/ trainers that they can run in
- Suncream/ hat
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Can my child attend more than 1 session? Yes they absolutely can, in fact we recommend it! We would love for them to join us for a couple of days or even the whole week so that we can really get to know them and they can relax in their surroundings and get the most out of their time with us. There’s even a reduced price for booking a full week.
- Do you use qualified staff? Our staff are have been chose and carefully selected for their skills and qualifications. All swim staff are qualified instructors and a qualified lifeguard will be present at all times. All beach school staff are qualified teachers, TA’s, childcare professionals.
- Does my child need a wetsuit? No – wetsuits, swim hats and tow floats are provided for all children, however if your child would like to bring their own to ensure comfort and fit then they are more than welcome.
